Encountered the apprentice on week 2, month 1, year 1. Got him across a stretch of water and humiliation ensued using my one lone level 2 Mana Scholar.
Sent my three melee guys across the lake and they got slaughtered mercilessly. >_>

Excellent game! please make a V2 or at least an expansion. Variations are obvious: more quests, change of maps and make the director intervention more useful!
OK. This is what you should do. 1)Make the game harder(such as making it harder to level up, harder levels, ect)2)As you level up, harder chalenges come and at a perticular point, wars, bandits come and raid and you have to beat them in a limeted amount of time, ect. 3)Make the students level up higher, and more classes
And finally, you could even create that into a DS game. Or keep it a PC game, or both.

would like to see character number-groupings during missions, only frustrating thing in an extremely addicting and playable game.

How do you get Gunslinger and mirage caster classes?
Great game! I am in my second sandbox session, now trying to figure out the best training schedules to develop each student’s stong points as much as possible.
The only thing that is a little annoying is that after “Assign to a party” the pop-up window won’t close, so you need to select another tab or open/close “Organize student” to get rid of it.
It would be handy to have the “Organize student” information directly visible, but the way it works now is not really a problem, and doesn’t clutter the screen.
Ticman’s request for a translation may be a good idea. Although I would prefer the English version I am a native Dutch speaker, and willing to translate into Dutch if you want. I could even try a French and German translation, but if you want proper language use you may want to pick others to do that;)

A very addictive game. I really enjoyed it.
It certainly would be nice to have some type of campaign mode, more like a quest, where the Academies participate in defense of the Kingdom.

I think, that this is one fo the best flash games on the internet. It has a quite lot of content and you can play it several times and it is still fun to do so:)
